I worked at Starwood Hotels & Resorts full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Team environment, great benefits, work/life balance - I also liked that I could work a 4 day work week to obtain the full time hours.

    Cons

It is a corporate environment - you could definitely tell when some requirements or meetings were to protect themselves from liability issues, etc.

    Advice to Management

Direct management within the department was fantastic - the upper management/directors barely acknowledged the existence of employees not on the same level.

I have been working at Starwood Hotels & Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Positive work culture. Promotion opportunity available since the entry level as phone associate. Higher position leaders genuinely do care about your success if you can maintain professional attitude and demonstrate your value. Great experience and they would shape you to be QA and higher positions later on.

    Cons

Pay is a little bit low, but it's great way to get into tech field w/o prior experience. Health Benefits make up for this.

    Advice to Management

    Keep Starwood fun.
