    Pros

If you work for the right agent, you will get treated well and paid decent. I like the hours and flexibility.

    Cons

It revolves around selling insurance and they really want you to sell banking products too. It's not so much about the customer like the adds say. It's always about the money.

    Advice to Management

It's a stable job with good hours.

I worked at State Farm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is definitely a good base pay. Even if you don't make your sales you won't go hungry. And the commission structure is good.

    Cons

There are no benefits. The atmosphere is extremely competitive and this is a sales job through and through. So keep that in mind

    Advice to Management

    Give benefits.

    Pros

Love helping insureds one on one and making sure my insureds needs are met. I like working for the last 20yrs for a company with a great core value

I worked at State Farm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

opportunity to make good money is there, but you have to sell a lot. Very rewarding when you are able to educate customers and help them see problem areas they didn't know were there.

    Cons

Terrible boss, no direction or help whatsoever. Pretended to care and by his actions, it was painfully obvious he did not.
