    Pros

State farm is a very genuine company that cares about it's customers. You can feel good about what you're selling and really help people.

    Cons

Each agent owns his or her office and has a very different way of operating.

I have been working at State Farm full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I worked at the Richardson, TX hub in many departments but my most current department is the CCC. The company is a great place to work with an amazing work/personal balance. They understand that things happen that may affect your schedule. They have a "swapboard" and a voluntarily "early dismissal" option where you can easily just swap your schedule around so you can make a doctors appointment or if you're not feeling well you can leave early. Though, it is definitely a privilege to have and can easily be taken away if you aren't meeting your metrics.

    Cons

It is a call center so it is metric driven where some of the metrics do keep decreasing and decreasing (I have been working with the company for three years) with no wiggle room. They have the "big guys" from upstairs look at charts and try to cut back on things that are impossible to do if they have actually worked a day in our shoes. I have found that having a relationship with your supervisor is EXTREMELY important and if you do have it, you can pretty much get away with anything.

I have been working at State Farm full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

State Farm truly cares about their employees. If you work hard and complete your tasks, they let you just do your thing. If you slack and mess around they start to micromanage you. The bosses are mainly there to develop and build you and not measure your statistics.

    Cons

No close by food places. They cater to the agents like no other often times choosing their side even if you may be right.
