The job was dull and for many others it was very stressful

The benefits are great, and networking is made easy if you want a Career in Insurance. Also the location's building is beautiful and very professional.
Cons
The bad thing about working at State Farm is that the managers and higher ups micromanage very hard and faithfully. There are constant changes being made to the Process while still having to keep AHT at 17 and below which is nearly impossible.

Such a shame

Relaxed work environment. No managers always breathing down your back.
Cons
Very low pay. State farm is hiring quite a bit and that's great but the starting pay is crap. I was just thankful to have a job but have already begun looking for a new one. I can't live off of the horrible pay. My team is all new people and we are all looking because of pay. If the company doesn't come to its senses, it's going to be left with only mediocre new hires who couldn't find another job.

Pros
The pay is amazing and State Farm has processes in place that ensure fair salary distribution
Cons
At times is very politically correct. Too much at times but that is the corporate culture now you have to watch everything you say and do.

The people that work in the State Farm Customer Care Center are warm and inviting. State Farm also has great benefits
Cons
State Farm Supervisors monitor and micro-manage your every move in the Customer Care Center.

Pros
Large, professional company with great resources. State Farm will reward you if you are goal oriented and invest in your career. Great training and endless opportunities.
Cons
People who work low wage customer service jobs get burned out on the phones just like any other company but if they take initiative they usually can work their way up in a couple years to a lot of other areas.
