Don't count on ANY bonus $

    Nov 30, 2022 - AVP-Finance in Boston, MA

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Close to transportation hubs in downtown. Benefits administered by Fidelity. Fidelity IS easily available and in my experience very helpful, responsive and reliable.

    Cons

Few opportunities for advancement. Very siloed organization. Even within silos, communication is basically rumor and hearsay. (There is almost no other communication). IT support is very variable in quality; can IT not keep essential systems running reliably - Email, network sign on and availability. Choice from two high-deductible medical health plans from one insurer is NOT competitive in Boston Market. Pays lip-service to diversity; as a gay man it was a place where I was not exactly in the closet but sexual orientation etc was irrelevant to the workplace.
