    I worked at State of Arizona full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good hours and good job security. It was a small office so the customers were so happy that there was rarely a wait.

    Cons

    You are on a timer with every customer so that makes it difficult on longer transactions. You can get dinged if you don't keep an eye on your timer. Hard to concentrate

    Pros

    people are great to work with

    Cons

    travel distance was a bit of a problem but it was over looked. It was a temp-position I would have liked to stay there but ther was no funding for my position.

    The people that work for DES are driven, intelligent, and want everyone to succeed in reaching the departmental goals and individual career aspirations. Work-life balance is fantastic. The daily job is rewarding.

    With turnover in management, some divisions have suffered from lack of strategic direction and support.

    When evaluating an employee consider their value add, not just their one-time mistakes that are corrected.
