      Pros

You can make decent money here while in school and they are generally very flexible with school schedule.

      Cons

They don't try to promote or give opportunities. It can also be a free for all with little supervision.

      No opinion of CEO

I worked at State of California - Department of Parks full-time for more than a year

      Pros

Supportive Staff and Supervisors with a family like atmosphere. As an employee you get free access to your park and any park in the system.

      Cons

Highly repetitive work my shifts where spent in an entrance booth, no opertunities for other activities that fall under the visitor service umbrella. My park during the peak season averaged 300+ guest a day at one entrance, weekends are double and triple that amount. Seasonal visitors service doesn't count towards any full time position except law enforcement.

      Advice to Management

More activities to with in a position.
