    Pros

Administration actually takes you, as a person, in consideration. Suggestions and input from lower lever employees are welcome. Excellent training and flexible hours.

    Cons

Occasionally long hours and on call often, sometimes even 24/7. At times there are personnel shortages and workload can be demanding.

I worked at State of Louisiana full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There is no work on the weekends

    Cons

Incredible amount of micro-managment. No respect given to attorneys from supervisors or director. Attorneys report to many supervisors, which are unnecessary in my opinion. Management is more concerned with time rather than work product.

Little to no work. To many attorneys staffed in relation to work assigned. No career advancement options with in the agency. Low pay.

    Advice to Management

Get rid of all the unnecessary supervisors. Fix the decreasing moral issues by giving more flexibility to attorneys.
