Work life balance
Jan 19, 2021 - Financial Analyst 11 in Lansing, MIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Work life balance Periods of very busy to not busy so you get a break after the busy months Good benefits Good work colleagues Good amount of vacation and sick leave
Cons
Some of the state guidelines make no sense. Women may be paid equally as there is a pay chart but not respected equally in the workplace. New leadership so this may change.

Stable job if you have no ambition
Dec 14, 2020 - Master's Student in Ann Arbor, MIRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
Very flexible work life balance and very stable once you've been employed for a year
Cons
-No respect for employees goals or expertise. -Employees treated like interchangeable units-- you might end up in a different position than the one you were hired for with no input whatsoever -Frequent disruptions to work due to gubernatorial elections-- you might spend a year waiting for leadership to decide it's okay for you to keep doing your job -Few opportunities for advancement -Extremely secretive, overly cautious culture.
