    All of the holidays off No micromanaging

    Pay (low compared to social work jobs with medical facilities/corporate/federal jobs) Job was somewhat repetitive day to day, not rewarding for me

    Supportive staff, provides the resources needed to do your job efficiently, includes trainings and CEU's usually paid for, New positions constantly opening up and the ability to switch departments after somebody has met their probation period.

    Cons

    Constant changes to rules and expectations, high caseloads, high expectations, sometimes little to no training at the beginning, no availability for overtime

    Working for the State of Nevada provided job stability. My work environment was pleasant.

    The pay as a state employee is not the highest. The county tends to pay better.
