    Pros

    Great atmosphere. Interesting cases. Flexible schedule. Supportive management. Value hard work.

    Cons

    The pay, the pay, the pay. Very low. Amount of work is pretty nuts. Overwhelming. Overworked unless you know how to say "no" and your boss is understanding.

    Advice to Management

    Less work. Greater pay.

    Compliance with federal and state regulations and policies takes a significant amount of resources away from program functions.

    Pros

    Great benefits, good work life balance, and holidays off. Overall a good experience working with the State of North Carolina.

    Cons

    The state of North Carolina does not financially reward it's employees. Also there is often little potential for advancement unless you're willing to relocate to the Wake County area.
