I worked at State of South Carolina full-time

    Pros

Easy hours and job load. Flexible daily shifts incorporated into bi weekly schedules provided a benefit to the employee. Company vehicles were provided and normally in good order.

    Cons

Low pay. The public treats you as a servant, costing tax payer money. Very little upward mobility. An "good ole' boys" promotional progress. Co-workers are held to little standards leaving work load to those who have self motivation.
