I have been working at State of Wyoming A&I full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Great group of professionals to work with
    Paid holidays
    Good benefits
Wyoming is a gorgeous place to live

    Cons

Salaries not keeping up with inflation - actually making less now than when I accepted the position (incorporating inflation of 8% total over 5 years).
    High turnover rate
    No holiday parties

    Advice to Management

Revisit the formulas and resources used to calculate salary ranges based on national averages. It could help to attract and retain talent.
