  • Low pay, they will try to get you to take the worst shifts and make you do things that don't fall under your responsibility (in 4 reviews)

  • Limited service and extended stay hotel, so it is not ideal for those that might be looking for a resort style job experience (in 3 reviews)

    Pros

    Enjoyed grill time, most of the house keepers were pleasant and breakfast and social hour were phenomenal

    Cons

    Not the best of pay, no set schedule, and front desk manager was a BLEEEP

    Advice to Management

    Pay bills and hire some different laundry people. I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky

    There is always room for advancement.

    Cons

    The hotel never closes so plan to work weekends and holidays. No set days off. Minimum wage jobs only.

    Advice to Management

    Moral is low because of no set days off and the pay is low as apposed to other hotels in the area.

    Awesome managers, advancement quickly for those that showed good work ethic, fun atmosphere

    Cons

    work schedule, work life balance doesn't work. Sometimes being requeited to work until 7am on an overnight shift, and be back to work at 3pm, with less than 8 hours between.

    Pros

    When I started there it was just opening. Yet it got organized and the kinks were being smoothed put quickly. I love the care of the managerial staff and their attention to detail.

    Cons

    New hotel so the clientele hadn't picked up before I ended up leaving.

    Advice to Management

    Wish I could have stayed there. And if I ever get my car and things situated I will be back.

    Great company through IHG and support from the brand.

    Cons

    Depends on who the franchisee company is that limits your growth and abilities. Mine was not very good to work for as they didnot value employees....

    Pros

    I really enjoyed working at the Staybridge. The property was beautiful and I was proud to work there. It was nice seeing people happy when the walked in, and the level of service I was able to provide.

    Cons

    Just like with most front desk agent positions, the pay was very low. Additionally, not much room for advancement.

    Advice to Management

    Cross-train employees and encourage more learning.
