I have been working at Steak n Shake full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

It is a really good company to work for. Yes you have to bust some serious tail to get the results that the above store teams want, but that all goes with the brand image.

It all starts with the people hired in and how well they are trained. Hold a level of standards that is consistent and you win. Food safety, people and hospitality all fall in place when you keep your team going! Just always stay on the trail for new talent. You never know when ever the best employee will decide to leave.

    Cons

If you get stuck in a turnover rut it is hard to get out of...

    Advice to Management

    1. Care about teaching your people.
    2. Make sure they know how to fix food safety issues.
    3. Give them support when needed.
    4. Fair standards that are consistant.
