I have been working at SteelWave full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Location of offices, beautiful view.

    Cons

Like most large companies, they constantly increase the work load without increasing the time allowed to complete the work.

    Advice to Management

Be more collaborative with employees, less dictatorial.

I worked at SteelWave full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Prior to company change, company was good. They were flexible with my schedule when needed. They had a good training process for new hires. There were many people who were knowledgeable of processes. Property Management is great.

    Cons

Since company changed, a lot of employees left. Benefits are not that great. Salary could be better. Schedule flexibility has gone down. Many people with prior history of the company has left. Lots of stress and work to go around due to mismanagement. No appreciation.

    Advice to Management

Listen to the employees opinions. Open your eyes and see what's really going on. Pay attention to those who are loyal to the company but are not being recognized for it.

I have been working at SteelWave full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A lot of good training when you start, people willing to help you when you need it.
Always something to eat in the kitchen.
A lot of recent IT upgrades.
Willing to give me schedule changes when I need it for personal reasons.
Love the changes in the office décor.

    Cons

A lot of changes surrounding the transition from Legacy Partners to SteelWave. Many of us were unsure how the change would affect our jobs. Getting better now. Medical insurance rates have gone up but I guess that can't be avoided.

    Advice to Management

Seems you're doing something right, a lot of people have left for other jobs but came back because they liked it here more.
Quarterly meetings are good but would like to hear more about what's going on between meetings. Some departments have supervisor meetings but not all supervisors share information with the rest of us. From what we do hear there's a lot of activity in real estate but it's not always clear how employees will benefit from it.
