I worked at Steinhafels (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Compensation
    Great Managers
    Well-run Company
    Cutting Edge Technology
    Great Co-workers
You get out of it what you put into it
Well - maintained stores and perks like free lunches on weekends

    Cons

Working every weekend and holiday gets old pretty fast
Too much emphasis on selling protection packages
Super competitive environment (this is only a con if you are not a super competitive person)

    Advice to Management

I enjoyed working at Steinhafels and learned a lot about sales techniques. I felt the managers really knew their jobs, worked hard, and were supportive. My biggest pet peeve was product being damaged by delivery people and having to deal with those issues after working so hard to make the sale and develop relationships with customers. It was also frustrating to have to put everything "on the dashboard" instead of communicating directly with other departments. It would have been nice to speak to a real person once in awhile or put a face to a name.

I worked at Steinhafels part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fantastic and easy coworkers and management. The pay is great if you work hard. Overall the work environment is relaxing and friendly. Your hard work will be noticed and complimented! (Big one for me)

    Cons

Sales competition can make working with others tense at times. There is A LOT of information to memorize, especially if you want to be any good. Always working on weekends gets old. (Like any sales job)

    Advice to Management

No, I was the youngest employee at the time and I surprisingly agreed with the way everything ran. A very smooth running store

I have been working at Steinhafels full-time

    Pros

Steinhafels is a great company to work for. The management team is respectful, and promotes a work/life balance. They truly do care about you and your family. They also trust their employees to get their jobs done. At the end of the day, it's the people that make it a great place to work.

    Cons

Compensation seems to maybe be slightly below market average for some positions.

    Advice to Management

Just keep on respecting your employees, and trusting them to do their jobs right. That trust and respect goes a long way!

    I worked at Steinhafels full-time

    Pros

Pay and benefits are very good, office is beautiful, not a lot of stress with the job, and everything was easy going.

    Cons

The owners are never on the same page with things so at times it was hard to know what to do and who to listen to.

    Advice to Management

Get more on the same page.
