    Pros

    It's not surprising that a company that specializes in service excellence would treat its own employees well, but you have to experience it to truly understand the difference it can make in your life. Tight teams, blameless culture, easy communication, high transparency, cooperation and mutual support is the norm, everybody is lifting up everybody else, great talent sticks around, and it's just an island of wonderfulness.

    Pros

    Surrounded by smart, motivated, and friendly people. Great culture. Several advancement opportunities. Innovative. Flexible hours. Unlimited vacation time.

    Cons

    Still has that startup mentality, so as expected, there's a little disorder as things are being figured out.

    Pros

    Great culture, competitive salaries, relaxed, productive environment, challenging problems and few or no artificial deadlines.

    Cons

    Things can hanger quickly, and that can be a challenge. You can't sit in a bubble and focus only on a narrow idea of your job, it is a startup and everyone is expected to contribute everywhere they can not just to things in their job description.

    Why do I LOVE working at Stella? Amazing culture, strong employee engagement, solid commitment to training and development, killer management team, unlimited vacation and FUN!

    Cons

    There is no downside to a career at Stella!

    Pros

    Stella was founded and run by people devoted to delivering amazing customer service through its products and its talent. Management understands that caring for their people first and foremost is what drives success. It's also a reason our clients love us. Work-life balance at Stella is truly terrific.

    Cons

    I have no cons to share.

    Advice to Management

    Keep on truckin' while putting your people first -- we're onto something big!

    I worked at StellaService full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    A fun and hard working environment. Awesome people to work with. Very flexible hours as long as you get your work done. I loved that I had the ability to work mostly from home.

    Cons

    Some departments got too focused on specific programs and didn't have a full understanding of the full suite of programs provided by the overall company.

    Advice to Management

    More cross training across departments.

    Stella really prides itself on creating a great company culture. People are encouraged to contribute and be proactive problem solvers. Everyone really believes in the mission of helping customers grow through better service

    Cons

    Similar to most startups in a competitive landscape....retention

    Take risks and bet on people who are passionate, don't settle for what will do

    I worked at StellaService full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - The people. This sounds like BS, and can only really be vetted once you're under the tent, but the people here are talented, inquisitive, care about what we're building
    - Culture is fantastic - lots of social and volunteer events. People are generally close and make the effort to include new employees
    - Work balance is strong - get your work done, no surprises, but make your schedule what works for you
    - Unlimited vacation, and no real stigma against taking it

    Cons

    - Politics among senior leadership is obvious and can be counter-productive
    - No real culture of giving / receiving meaningful feedback
    - Comp structure and career path options are a mystery

    Advice to Management

    Turnover, both at the senior and junior levels, is a bit concerning. Need some help achieving the right balance of transparency. Hire slow, fire fast. Foster a system of feedback for employees and mgmt, this is not currently prioritized.

    I have been working at StellaService full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Stella is a great place to work, has a good work/life balance, and interesting products. It sounds ridiculous, but I don't mind going to work on Monday mornings because the people are nice and easygoing. Company-wide meetings held each week to understand more about how each department/employee is contributing to the bottom line and quarterly goals. Good sense of transparency and leadership team does a good job of providing employees with professional/interesting services to help you grow (ie LifeLabs, Speaker Series, and other workshops). As for all those that thrive in a startup environment - people that are self-starters, can project manage, and can be flexible during the inevitable ups and downs would really enjoy Stella.

    Cons

    The office is cold sometimes? No real cons, just general ebbs and flows of the startup world.

    Advice to Management

    Overall great job creating a working environment and group of people that are interesting and actually enjoy what they do. People really enjoy the transparency so as we grow, keep that - and employee experience - top of mind.
