    I worked at Stereotaxis full-time

    Pros

Great disruptive technology that is constantly upheld as one of the best study after study for patient safety and efficacy for procedures

    Cons

Do not promote from within. Horrible bonus structure - low sum of $1500 per quarter but only when the entire TEAM reaches 105% - worst in the industry.

    Advice to Management

Promote before 3 years, change bonus to at least $2500 when team hits 100%, NOT105% with partial bonus starting at 95%, add INDIVIDUAL performance bonus structure to start at 95%. We had little motivation to hit our numbers other than a pat on the back.

    Pros

Stereotaxis has an amazing technology which can be used in other areas of the body. During my time, I have had the opportunity to work with every intelligent and motivated individuals. Great place for young engineers to enhance their skills.

    Cons

Employee retention - most of the talents leave in search of greater challenges and/or growth. Management has no strategy for employee development. Individuals have high expectations of others, however do not adhere to their own expectations. Individuals not always challenged.

    Advice to Management

Maple Grove location is no longer required. Consolidate operations to St Louis only, which will provide opportunities for motivated individuals to demonstrate their skills and improve the company. There is no need for a Senior V.Ps in so positions, this is not a profitable, too much overhead

Innovataive technology. It will be th future of surgery.

The company can't decide whether it is a software company or a medical device company. Even thought it is over ten years old the company operates its finances as if is a start-up.

    Advice to Management

Concentrate on making sure the assets in the field are being used. Recurring income from consummables is where the comapny will become stable.
