    Doesn't Recommend

I worked at Sterling College full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Sterling College offers a discount on employee lunch and an easy work schedule.

    Cons

If you are interviewing for an academic position, I would move on quickly. Most faculty will quit within 4 years of being hired. There is a sense of moral exhaustion over keeping the student enrollment high while trying to teach at the collegiate level. The pay is not competitive, the standard of education is below average, and the academic staff is poorly managed and underappreciated. During my tenure, I was pressured to lower my standards of education.

I worked at Sterling College full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Good people who care for the students they teach.

    Cons

Unfair salary rules and special contracts for some faculty.

    Advice to Management

If the goal is to be fair with salaries then do not have special contracts with some faculty to increase their salaries.
