    I worked at Sterling Holiday Resorts Limited (Less than a year)

    Pros

    You can make good incentive if you will able to survive the polltics in the company.

    Cons

    No work life balance, asked to work from 9.30 to evening 8.30, and without any weekly off, you have to work on sunday also.
    Lots of politics inside the company, they will give leads only to the people who are older in the system, New guy have to run here and there to generate leads as well as to do sales.
    No Support from senior management, your boss will neither let you speak with them.
    Only internal politics, and worst part the bangalore management don't know how to generate leads or what to do to generate marketing activity. they are just running like a headless chicken.
    Senior are only there to ask you the no, but no guidance at all to the new team member that from where and how to do the sales.
    and the great HR of the company (bangalore Location) see everything which is happening infront of them, but dont say a single word which is happening wrong.

    Advice to Management

    If your employees are not happy, you will never grow in this tough competition, start appraciating your employees, and for god sake, stop this internal politics, if you as a individual wants to grow in the company. Only negative name and fame will happen if you keep treating your employee like a donkey.

    gives opportunities to each employee. gives enough time to establish ur self with work and situation.everyone is ready to teach u all the time...

    Cons

    far from cities so forget about happy life....like branded dresses, shoes, macdonals, etc etc etc. but on line shoping jindabad......

    Advice to Management

    should focus on their empolees more to avoid them leaving organigation bacause it z heard to work those, who have spended their life normally....

    1. Employees learn to work in testing conditions
    2. Provides good support for Freshers

    1. No value commitment for Clients hence clients have no faith in the company commitments
    2. Cant retain good staff

    The management needs to renovate all the properties & win back the client confidence. Has to change the outlook of the company & revise the Sterling Vision & Mission. The company should advice employees to make commitments, which can be delivered

    Pros

    They need people and hire almost anybody who can speak English. It is easy to get a job here.

    Cons

    Delay in salaries. Company is in trouble. HIgh pressure to achieve targets. Hire and Fire company. Everybody including my boss is looking for a job all the time. Nobody trusts nobody. There is no team work. We all wait for the day they pay our salary. Sometimes they pay after 2 months or even more.

    Advice to Management

    Be Realistic. You are in deep financial trouble. Be conservative. You have all your relatives working for you. Many of them are not professionally qualified and hence are not competent.
