I couldn’t be happier with my decision to join StevenDouglas. I only wish I had come on board sooner. Management is top notch and team is collaborative, insightful, professional, and fun. A place where you can learn something new from those around you.

Good healthcare coverage but not cheap.

Been here for now two years, and it feels like I've been here much longer. The firm is truly a family environment, less drama, more collaboration. I've been in the business for now close to 18 years, and I have to say this is by far the best environment I've worked within, and I'm truly happy with my decision to join StevenDouglas.

Cons

None, outside of I wish we all saw eachother more. We are national, and mostly remote. Which is great, but still would like to see the team more.

I have been in the IT recruitment industry for 22 years and have been with StevenDouglas for 2+ years now. The best decision I ever made in my career was to come on board! A true consultative recruiting org filled with seasoned professionals who truly care about every single client and candidate. No useless metrics to conform to. You get to come in and kick butt in your own way every day. Also, no one kicks you when you are done....quite the opposite! From our founder to CEO and VP exec team, these are leaders that empathize with the challenges in our jobs, and offer constant support and praise. You get to show up as your authentic self every day which is a breath of fresh air. Also the best comp plan in the business I would give 1 million stars if I could!

Excellent communication from management Executive level management connects with all levels of employees often. Teamwork is expected and occurs daily. Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in their market. This is a people first organization for employees, clients, and candidates!

This is a home to people that don’t need training and just want to run a book with world class leadership and co-workers. High ethics at every layer of leadership.

Benefits are expensive BUT commission splits are really high so if you are a top biller it’s not an issue.

Working at StevenDouglas is an honor. It is great to work with a true team who always does the right thing and is supportive of their employees through thick and thin. StevenDouglas is an awesome place to work and I highly recommend them to anyone.

In the short time that I have been here, I have learned and grown so much as a recruiter and a person. I know with the support I get here at Steven Douglas, I have a bright future to look forward to. The team Jamie Javorsky has built here is unbelievable. I have never worked in such a healthy, uplifting environment. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, everyone is more than willing to help one another. There is no toxic competition like other firms have. I feel beyond lucky to be a part of this team. Not to mention, the career growth opportunities offered here are one in a million. They genuinely want you to be successful, in work and life. I go home every day with new stories about how much I love this place. I cannot say enough good things about Steven Douglas. This job has changed my life for the better.
