    Advice to Management

Review on-line text books for correctness/accuracy. Provide on-line students with systems architecture text books.

    Negative Outlook

I worked at Stevens-Henager College for more than 3 years

    Pros

The hours were flexible and the schedule was friendly to those who have families. The lower management was also willing to work with individuals.

    Cons

Overall, management was poor and there was a lack of structure and communication between all department heads and instructors. There was an unfair pay structure, and I went over two years without any raise.

    Advice to Management

    Unfair bonus structure

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Stevens-Henager College full-time for less than a year

    Pros

There are no pros to working for this company. They are a total for profit non college their credits don't transfer and they leave the students in the dark about it.

    Cons

Conartist, if you are willing to work for a company without any integrity then this would work for you. They allow students to get themselves into debt without a second thought.

I have been working at Stevens-Henager College full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You get to work with a student population that really needs the training and skills offered at the college. You get to see people's lives change for the better. Campus employees form a close-knit community.

    Cons

You get to work with a student demographic that needs a lot more help with academics, interpersonal skills, and life management skills than traditional students. Each campus has a very different work environment from others, depending entirely on the campus leadership. Some are very positive and others bordering on abusive.

    Advice to Management

Keep an eye on local campus leaders. They vary widely in terms of management skill, cultural sensitivity, and treatment of employees.

    I worked at Stevens-Henager College

    Pros

The Pay is good, but that's about it.

    Cons

*Rolls Eye* Oh Please "Department of Education is out to get small colleges." There's a reason. I felt like I lost my soul working for Stevens Henager. It's about money first and foremost, don't be fooled otherwise. They are one of the highest priced for profit colleges. They have people take out student loans, and then have them take out private loans through the school. In the end someone likely is going to have...

    Advice to Management

I do hope that the Fed. does continue to investigate Stevens Henager. The school needs to be put under high scrutiny for it's practices.
