I have been working at Sticky Fingers full-time

    Pros

Good people, definitely a good product. Pretty relaxed environment and catering provides an opportunity to get out of the restaurant every now and again.

    Cons

Company doesn't really reinvest into it's stores, a lot of old, half working equipment. Management makes some pretty inappropriate comments at times. Management salaries are well below industry standard. Some of the caterings we are forced to take on by upper management don't make sense to do.

    Pros

Great people to work with, when you have the right people.
    Free meals for managers

    Cons

    Work hours
Asked to do about 1000 things as 1 person
    Way under paid
    Way under staffed

I worked at Sticky Fingers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Upper management outside of the location was great! Overall it's a great company to work for. Fairly easy to memorize the menu. Great food and great co workers

    Cons

The in restaurant management is a joke. Worst management I've ever had. Managers just go in and modify your schedule that's already been set, talk behind your back, are very rude, and don't train new employees.

    Advice to Management

The lower management needs to be retrained. Upper management is awesome. Keep up the good work!

I worked at Sticky Fingers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Decent food and some really nice people are there as coworkers. The employee discount on the food is 50% off

    Cons

Restaurant is on their way out of business. Managers are treated like poop by corporate because of it and in turn it gets taken out on servers and hosts. During my few months there, over 20 people had left the restaurant and weren't there anymore. A bartender yelled at me (a host) and got promoted to manager after I left. I was fired because apparently I "distracted a manager from running the restaurant" when I asked who was gonna be the manager the next day

    Advice to Management

Get a grip. You know why people arent coming to the restaurant and don't do anything to change. Stop placing blame on everyone else and look at the real reasons the restaurant is done

I worked at Sticky Fingers full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Super easy, literally anyone can work here. No experience needed, don't worry if you don't have any experience in the restaurant industry, cause no one else that works there does either! Also, all the employees are allowed to sit in the back on their phones the entire shift, so no hard work is necessary either.

    Cons

The managers don't know how to run a restaurant, are rude to guests, the food is TERRIBLE! ! Everyone sent food back. The computers to ring in food and the receipt printers do not work so good luck. Save yourself some time and avoid this waste of time job.

    Advice to Management

Please invest in an education for yourself and learn about business or even restaurants in general! Also, learn to respect your employees and stop STEALING money from tip outs and the safe!

    Pros

Great people to work with, outstanding food, and a fun environment to work in.

    Cons

Lack of a corporate marketing, and very limited capital hurts the chance of a great concept.

    Advice to Management

Franchise the concept to generate capital, and build on a great concept by offering casual, and qsr options.

I have been working at Sticky Fingers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Management always has your back, they're very understanding which makes your job so much easier. The customers who dine here are usually great down to earth people. You really become a family here.

    Cons

Cons although few and in between are more server cons than anything. Sometimes you make really good money and sometimes you don't. The kitchen and BOH sometimes can be out of control and lacks leadership.

    Advice to Management

Seek BOH Leadership. Don't be so friendly with staff set boundaries and stick to those, and set goals that can keep us wanting more and improving.

    Pros

    Decent food, laid back environment

    Cons

Slow business, also closed without giving notice to any employee's. Came to work one day only to find a note asking everyone to clean up due to store closing.

I worked at Sticky Fingers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Depending on the location there are still people in management that care about their employees.

    Cons

They are sacrificing the quality of the food to make a few extra pennies. Yes pennies add up but they are losing dollars when customers stop coming back.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget why you bought the company to begin with.
