I have been working at Stockton University full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Friendly work environment with co-workers and staff that work together to achieve a common goal.

    Cons

Parking on campus is a nightmare if you work second shift. Shift hours can make it difficult to plan personal life. Shift schedule changes often throughout the semester as well based on University events which also affect your sleep schedule. Another con is too many group email responses that clog your inbox.

I worked at Stockton University part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Because Stockton is a college, they understand the challenges inherent in balancing a work and school schedule.

    Cons

None, really. Except that the parking is insane during the week, making it difficult for you if your shift starts in the afternoon.

    Advice to Management

My experience was great because I was a student employee. I can't really answer what working there is like if you're a regular employee.

I worked at Stockton University part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Department was very flexible and accomodating during classroom issues. Administration was easy to work with.

    Cons

Class was very large (44 students), and prevention of cheating was difficult.

    Advice to Management

Provide clear guidance to adjunct professors regarding student ethics issues. If class size is large a larger room needs to be provided.

I have been working at Stockton University full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Great Staff
4 day work weeks May - September
    Beautiful Campus

    Cons

    Reactive rather than proactive

    Advice to Management

Stop being reactive to every trend and really analyze the programs and trends that make sense for the area. A 250 a plate alumni gala is not who Stockton alum are. Accept that and have a good old fashioned beef n beer instead and you will be much more successful!
