    I have been working at Stonebridge Companies full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    -Rapidly growing company with an increasingly more sophisticated hotel portfolio -Company cares about administering employee surveys and actually taking action based on the results -Company tries to promote from within -Nice benefits such as free hotel nights, discounts for Stonebridge hotels and restaurants, reduced public transportation passes, discounted fitness club memberships, 401K match, etc.

    Cons

    -Very hierarchical management structure -Most (not all) C-level executives are white males -Lower pay relative to neighboring hotels -Sometimes it seems like management cares about increasing the bottom line more than investing in employee satisfaction or investing in better products and services for the hotel.     Advice to Management

    Since the company is growing, I would suggest investing in developing formal training opportunities for your lower-level staff who are seeking to grow in the industry (maybe like a manager-in-training program). Maybe consider offering incentives for management to promote their best employees up and out of their particular property. I know too many talented young people who are dying for recognition, promotions, and learning...

    I worked at Stonebridge Companies full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    The other employees are Great!(general employees) The building is BEAUTIFUL to work in.

    Cons

    Management is selfish and could care less about their employees, have to pay to park and parking is not on the property(absolutely no compensation for this),

    Advice to Management

    Managers should recognize that their employees are the ones doing the grimy work and everyone should recognized or appreciated at some point during employment.
