I have been working at Stonebridge Companies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    - People Focused (Staff & Guests)
    - Internal Development and Focus on Team Growth

Stonebridge encourages properties to ensure their staff feel accommodated with great break rooms, competitive compensation, and transparent policies that set the bar high for performance expectations. The company encourages development and focus on building future leaders and moving staff forward. They also invest in their properties when needed. I was proud to work at Stonebridge properties and be able to represent them with our product. I started in hospitality as a night auditor and have since worked my way up. Through this time I have worked for a few different management companies and single owners. Stonebridge by far is a step above the rest.

    Cons

    - Insurance Benefits (Cost High for Benefits Received)
    - Old School Process and Procedures

Insurance benefits and cost were recently changed. With the new benefits it is more difficult for some things I need, and the cost benefit is not helping. Where I had no copay before I now do on a comparable plan. Also the new insurance requires the prescriptions I have to be mailed only through their pharmacy.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the changes. Adapting to the culture and motivating properties. The new break rooms, snacks, and solid on-boarding process really help invest associates into what the company is about, Distinguished Hospitality.

    Pros

Stonebridge is a company that cares about it's employees. As any business, ownership expects to get a return on its investment. The great part is they consider employees an investment. Upper management such as the VPs and COO take a great interest in getting to know and develop line-level talent throughout the company. This level of engagement is so very rare and should be mirrored in the industry.

    Cons

Not many, as a growing company with around 50 properties they are still expanding.

I have been working at Stonebridge Companies full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

I am very grateful to work for Stonebridge. I have been with the company for several years and have gotten to see first hand how the company has changed and is continually striving to be better and to make their company better for its associates. I see new tools and systems being implemented which make our jobs easier and more efficient. I am given recognition and opportunities to learn and grow. I find my supervisors and corporate contacts are supportive, interested in improving rather than finding fault and take a personal interest in their associates.

    Cons

I wish our budgets were more forgiving. We work in a competitive wage market and we feel the pressure in our budgets with wages moving higher and higher. I'm sure this is true for most companies out their right now, but it is a significant challenge all the same.

They provide us with the tools needed to perform our job at a very high level and always make sure that we taking care of our guest and employees. They have a very good bonus program for many of our salary positions.

I have been working at Stonebridge Companies full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company is amazing. I have worked for a few other companies in my 14 years as a general manager and I can truly say that this company is amazing. The leadership, starting with our CEO Navin Dimond and his wife Rita, are honest and humble people. You really feel like family and that is hard to find in some companies. The company believes in letting you lead your business unit (hotel) and stays out of your way if you are hitting your performance metrics. Jack Paul, Vice President of Operations and Chris Manley, COO are great leaders. They are there for you when needed and are very easy to talk to. The company offers room for advancement and the associates at our Corporate Support Center are approachable and helpful. I truly can't say enough great things about this organization...they are truly like family to me.

    Cons

There is nothing noteworthy that comes to mind.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the great work. The hospitality business is extremely stressful and your leadership style takes away that stress and makes it enjoyable.
