-The work goes by pretty quickly as it is busy a lot of the time.
-Usually pretty accommodating to your schedule.

    Cons

    -Favoritism towards certain people.
    -Tips are split and taxed.

    Pros

This is a great family owned restaurant and treats their employees like apart of the family. I worked there for 3 years and every manager & team member that came through was amazing. I always had a fun time working and definitely loved working there. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

    Cons

As I said in the title, a first time job. I sadly had to leave because there was only so much experience I can get. It's a fast-casual restaurant and tips are split between the whole team.

    Advice to Management

Continue to do what you're doing :)

    Pros

This is a great first job for anyone in high school or trying to enter the food/ beverage industry. They really do job training their employees and instilling their values.

    Cons

pay is minim wage, tips are shared,No free food, people get paid different wages at different locations, some give raises some don't.

    Pros

The employee discount on food. Sometimes they will even buy you your lunch if you're working an 8 hour shift.

    Friendly Staff.

    A very team oriented environment.

    Cons

Sometimes management expects a little bit too much out of it's staff members(most are still high schoolers).

Be prepared to be working an 8 hour shift on Easter, Mother/Father's Day and The Superbowl(everyone does).

Tips are split with all staff members working that specific shift. But at least you get something out of it.

I worked at Stonefire Grill part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great job to have while you are still under 18 as you make a dollar or two over minimum.
Great job to have to learn about the restaurant world.
    Great training.

    Cons

You easily are exploited here, you work harder than you would at a full service restaurant where you would take home and easy $100 in tips. If you are younger your raise is less prioritize, no matter how hard you work. Tipping is split with front of house and back, and it is done from a tip pool of every two weeks! If you work only Friday and Saturday nights (busiest of the week) you are still given the same amount of tip as someone who were to work Monday and Tuesday morning (easiest and slowest shifts) your own personal handwork does not go far, as you essentially pull weight for others as far as tip pool goes, now at a full service restaurant I have been at now for almost two years as a server my work is not only more enjoyable, its a cake-walk and I am making the same mount of money in a day as I would in one week at Stonefire.

I worked at Stonefire Grill part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great team, awesome staff. Room to excel, grow, and move up. Flexible with schedules. They do a pretty good job of rewarding the staff for good efforts. The management really does care about each employee as a person, which I think is missing from a lot of workplaces today.

    Cons

I haven't worked there in a while, but some employees would take advantage of the flexibility of the scheduling, causing more of a weight-load for other employees. Sometimes it was hard to work holidays, but they would do their best to accommodate - that's just the nature of the restaurant industry.

I worked at Stonefire Grill part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Wonderful management. Clearly care about their employees, and it was always a good day at work. Everyone is very positive.

    Cons

My least favorite part about this job was splitting tips. Every server would turn in their personal tips and they would have to be disbursed amongst all employees. Did not seem like a good way to make everyone want to work harder.

-Fun work events are scheduled throughout the year

    Cons

    -Super busy all the time
    -No reservation service
    -Really difficult to get raises
    -Managers can play favorites
-Shifts are really hard to get covered

    Advice to Management

Keep your employees motivated by granting them raises if they go above and beyond your expectations.
