    Pros

Oh you are going to get a crash corse on windows. But non of it is 100% true. Brandon Fromm is a nice guy with way to much on his plate to actually train. It's just hot seat training.

    Cons

It's totaly a scam never pay your commission. They do offer 950 a week draw witch basicly pays for your gas money. To drive from Port St Lousey and the back to Miami. Put more miles on my car in a month than i had in a year..pluse you pay all tolls ect. The owner Is. Mr. Brown who is basicly a guy who has cammeras in every room and they are micked up. Just weird.

    Advice to Management

    Pay your people

I worked at Storm Tight Windows full-time

    Pros

The have a very strong product with enough solid features to make the sale based on value alone. Support is always available, and you have access to the entire company hierarchy at any time. Genuinely good people with an exceptional outlook and positive regard for each other. The presentation and kit are well thought out which translates to a fairly smooth presentation with few weak spots. As you will tell from this review I was impressed with what I saw, ultimately I had other things in my life that got in way (injury) that forced me to discontinue employment.

    Cons

Like all in home sales positions there are obvious negatives. The travel, hours, and the lifestyle in general are certainly not for everyone, nothing stands out as being a particular mark against their company for adopting this business model. The pay structure is performance based which does not level out the sink or swim aspect of these jobs. This means you will need to have the financial maturity to handle the ups and downs

    Advice to Management

I think there ought to be a longer incubation period after training that binds the trainee to a seasoned salesman till his/her skills have more polish. Confidence is absolutely the core trait needed to be effective here and anything that bolsters that is bound to payoff.

I worked at Storm Tight Windows full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    > Potential for good income IF you have qualified leads.
    > It's not a 9 to 5 job, which can get boring.

    Cons

    > Totally unrealistic expectations from sales/management.
    > If you think a customer who is shopping for estimates is going to sit through a TWO HOUR presentation, you're totally delusional.
    > Leads are NOT "highly qualified" as they claim, it's a total shot in the dark if you're going to make a sale much less whether or not the customer is even going to show up.
    > Huge amounts of driving all over the state with zero expenses paid, no compensation for fuel or tolls.
    > No benefits, you are a W-9.

    Advice to Management

    > Cut the length of your 'presentation' down by 80%
    > Pay people during your week-long intensive 'training program' so people aren't desperately wasting their time learning your 'system' while wasting their own money to do so.
    > Don't spend an hour telling everyone the multitude of 'ways they can be fired', it just stresses everyone out when they're already stressed-out.
    > Work on your people skills.
