    Cons

Lacked innovation, but that's really all I can that's 'negative' about Storm8.

    I worked at Storm8 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    - The people you work with day-to-day are great
    - They provide a solid benefits package (including lunch/dinner)
    - Work/life balance is generally fair to good

    Cons

    - Management has no idea how to turn things around and is extremely risk averse
    - Any non-live ops resources are put towards "safe bet" new games with no chance of being a breakout hit
    - Zero good design/product leadership for more than a year and a toxic management environment mean the company can't attract anyone who can help get things moving in the right direction

    I worked at Storm8 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    +Flexible working hours
    +Catered Meals (Lunch & Dinner)
    +Good Insurance/Benefits
    +Nice Coworkers/Friendly Atmosphere

    Cons

    -Rushed/sped up deadlines
    -Lack of transparency
-Unable to move up, no formal on site training
-Lack of vision/creativity, simply copying other successful games
-Copies without understanding why things were made
    -Either micromanagement or no direction
    -Can be a bit "clique"-y
-Management habitually doesn't listen or learn from their mistakes
-Most teams feel stifled to contribute new ideas
    -Late nights

    Advice to Management

+Value and listen to your employees a bit more, and not just say you do, you have to work for them as much as they work for you.
+Don't punish the teams that were making you the most profit.
+Offer more formal onsite training or opportunities for which people to train themselves
+Don't try rehashing/remaking games that have a history of not working
+Alternatively, if you're remaking a game that has a good history, stop giving up on the remake less than a month in after release.
+Upper Management has lost no/touch with it's employees and it's projects and instead have started spending time and efforts on it's own personal projects.
