    Pros

Good place to learn and use as a stepping stool.

    Cons

Expensive benefits, high rate of turnover from top to bottom.

    Advice to Management

All employees deserve respect - not just top Partners.

    Pros

A lot of the attorneys are nice; health benefits are okay; They are flexible with work time as long as you hit 40 hours per week.

    Cons

Low pay for admins; a handful of rude partners who can get away with murder just because they bring in the most $$$; support staff not valued. Archaic rules that don't fit with the times.

    Advice to Management

Hire people in HR with real leadership experience and the firm will be a better place for all. Also promote from within to make the company culture better for all.

I have been working at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I don't really have any pros. I worked there for about a year.

    Cons

Turnover was high and morale was low. Awful combo. To be honest, I hated my time there. They didn't pay well enough for some of the crap they expected us to take from the attorneys and their admins.

    Pros

Salaries are some of the highest I've seen for secretary's and support staff. If you like a job to glide through, this is the place for you! Challenge will not be a part of your career here.

    Cons

Politics govern this firm making it one of the most inefficient legal providers I have ever been exposed to or heard of. I've never seen so many people doing virtually nothing day after day after day except gossiping. Informed clients paying attention to their bills already are aware that something is seriously wrong.

    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Stradley employs the best people. The atmosphere is friendly, yet professional. Work is very interesting. Everyone really cares about the other. When someone has a personal hardship or tragedy, everyone steps in to help. Good work is respected and rewarded. I look forward to going in every day.

    Cons

Sometimes the work is a bit heavy and there is not enough help to get it all done.

    Advice to Management

Get more help for the secretaries. Enlist a variety of opinions on big decisions. Otherwise, keep up the good work. The Executive Director is worth her weight in gold.

I worked at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP (More than a year)

    Pros

Supervisors who do their best to keep staff attorneys informed, willingness to answer questions, flexibility in scheduling arrangements, reasonable compensation.

    Cons

I can think of no serious disadvantages. Sometimes there was a bit of confusion as to what I was expected to do, but that is natural in a litigation setting where deadlines are often externally imposed and stringent.

    Pros

Everyone generally has a good attitude and the environment is definitely better than your typical law firm. Would definitely recommend.

    Cons

Typical stuff for a law firm. You have control over your schedule and the hour requirements are reasonable, but you can still get dragged into crappy work like any law firm.

I have been working at Stradley Ronon Stevens & Young LLP full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I was able to learn legal conflicts from the supervisor. The legal secretaries were friendly and very encouraging when it came to your goals.

    Cons

The work was boring, worked in a tight setting, and we didn't have our own cubicle. You had to work independently and lift 40 pound boxes.
