    Pros

The people are great, but the company as a whole is confused. Every other year management completely changes and never allows for the previous group to figure out how to work effectively.

    Cons

Management is awful. Information is hidden and kept secret for job security. The constant Israel vs. USA conflict is annoying.

I worked at Stratasys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Coworkers were great. Great technology. Physical office environment very professional.

    Cons

Chaos all the time. Burn-out prevalent. Turnover. Constantly changing priorities.

    Advice to Management

Establish only those goals that can reasonably be achieved. Too many goals and/or goals that are too aggressive result in lack of accomplishment and lower everyone's morale.

I have been working at Stratasys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

3D printing is an exciting technology that is still in early adoption phase. The sky is the limit.

    Cons

There are a lot of unknowns in 3D printing and this can make for a difficult company to manage. Particularly after a merger of 2 very different companies with very different cultures.

    Advice to Management

Strong leadership is needed in both US and IL. Employees need confidence in leadership and need to see leadership in action.

I have been working at Stratasys full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

The company provides good benefits and good work life balance. I am never bored at my job, and there is always something to learn and discover with such cool technology to develop. The work environment is dynamic, friendly, and relatively laid-back. I feel fairly compensated for my work.

    Cons

Many non-technical, internal processes have become more cumbersome in recent years, and cut into productivity. Projects can move slowly, and change direction suddenly. The company has become significantly more "corporate" in the last year.

    Advice to Management

Confidence in upper management is low. Employees do not feel a sincere commitment to future investment. Many in North America and former core Stratasys business also resent the clear preference for former Objet hires and Israeli nationals in most new positions in upper and C-level management.

    Pros

The company provides great 3D printable items for many uses, which are of a high quality. The industry is fascinating and will help many companies and students to produce superior products for a cheaper price. Management has good intentions with improvements.

    Cons

The industry is volatile, as the market can quickly be saturated with this technology. Unfortunately, some of the departments are a little disconnected, but this can happen in many companies.

    Advice to Management

When making improvements to processes, attempt to bring in many different views from various backgrounds sooner in the planning process.

    Pros

Exciting industry and technology. Stratasys is a high growth company that offers many challenging opportunities and a global view. Successful employees at Stratasys must be willing to adapt to constant change.

    Cons

Dual headquarters in Minnesota and Israel can make collaboration difficult.
