    Pros

Good people in the rank and file

    Cons

    Advice to Management

Time to split the company or consolidate. This company needs a single identity. Somehow a merger took 2B in value and reduced it to 700M. Wonder how that happened?

I worked at Stratasys full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Cool technology, some good people.

    Cons

Management is a revolving door of people trying to get quick short term benefits that don't hold up in the long run, before they leave for another workplace. Employees are all disengaged, noone respects management decisions, input is disregarded.

    Advice to Management

Identify and listen to the few remaining dedicated employees.

I worked at Stratasys full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The technology is a lot of fun to work with, the engineering work was challenging (in the good way), and there are/were good people working there.

    Cons

Stratasys has lost its direction or else C-level is not any good at setting a direction and having the middle-managers govern how that applies to their employees. As a result of this lack of information flow, C-level comes off as money-centric instead of employee/company-centric, and morale continues to decrease. Stratasys (in Eden Prairie) lacks any real diversity, in the traditional sense as well as in the... background/ideas sense. There were only a few people of color outside of assembly labor positions, none of them were in engineering, and none of them seemed to last longer than a few years. In the Eden Prairie offices, the employees all tend to get hired from the same pool, resulting in engineers with the same training and problem solving methods. This is detrimental as it means there are no real creative solutions to problems as everyone thinks the same. I also personally ran into issues with ambiguous promotion requirements.

    Advice to Management

Get a plan, communicate that plan, have the managers figure out what the role their department plays in that plan, and stick with the plan.

    Pros

Fun 3D printing technology, good people in Eden Prairie offices, good customers, interesting applications. Long term good industry potential in both prototyping and manufacturing.

    Cons

Big culture change in last 2 years. Run by Israeli management which is a command and control environment. Very challenging for people seeking a collaborative work environment.
