    Pros

It's a job. I've had a lot of good experience and training on different things in the call center industry. Met a lot of friends as well.

    Cons

It's a call center. If you go into it recognizing that you could lose your job because the client decided to go with another vendor or you aren't meeting the stat of the day, you'll be fine.

If you are against outsourcing, this really isn't the job for you.

I worked at Stream Global Services (More than 3 years)

    Pros

certifications that got me a consulting job making good money from home
    got management experience too
    learn by doing
training provided for Salesforce contract is worth thousands of dollars outside

    Cons

    senior managers play favorites
    unrealistic goals

    Advice to Management

You should have never insisted on a pay per case closure model. It destroyed the contract and forced SFDC to pretty much pull out.

    Pros

    The staff was pretty friendly.

    Cons

Salesforce training was extensive. It was an hour 8 class that lasted a few weeks. It felt rushed and I still did not feel comfortable with the product.

    Pros

Steady Hours, Friendly and relaxed environment. Lower management supervisors showed empathy.

    Cons

    Pros

I originally loved working for this company, however after getting onto a team where the management just ignored requests, I had to quit. There is a lot of opportunity to learn, especially the entire process of technical support. The longer you spend working here, the better your chances of working elsewhere in a support position. The next job employer I worked for said they were amazed I was able to hold out for 10 months at this place.

    Cons

If you'e a support tech, you are not a valuable asset to this company. They cycle people out every month after training a new batch. The only way to stay in this job is to constantly be moving from one support position to another.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the needs of your employees.
