I have been working at Stream Realty full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are outings for photo ops. You can see the separation though. All minority's sit together because they have the same struggles...

    Cons

One Person should not be responsible for all the hiring at such a company. There should be check and balances as in SOC 1 compliance! A lot is hidden from HR and Stream owners.

    Advice to Management

    They don't care for advice.

I have been working at Stream Realty full-time

    Pros

Benefits and office environment , free snacks and appearance of free come and go policy, but someone is always watching.

    Cons

Senior management does not appreciate the amount of work being completed. It appears that the best employees are rewarded with more work "because I trust you to do it right" yet not rewarded with recognition nor pay.

    Advice to Management

Take time to recognize those who perform, not just those in social circle. Company has potential to be great, but needs direction and support on all platforms.

I worked at Stream Realty full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

lower level team members are great and supportive, pay is so so, decent benefits

    Cons

you are expected to fill several roles and are unfairly paid for it, management does not want to give you a raise unless you fight for it, claims flexible hours but then monitors you, management team is awful at actually managing the office and their employees

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees with some respect and stop being money grabbers. Live up to your culture by actually being nice and honest.

I have been working at Stream Realty full-time

    Pros

Most of the employees are friendly and pleasant to work with.

    Cons

Zero respect for work-life balance. Way too many accountants work too many hours. Stream shows no appreciation for the long hours worked. We are all on salary, so we don't even get extra pay. My direct supervisor is and exception to the pro I listed above. The supervisor talks down to me and is highly disrespectful and totally unprofessional. A lower-level accountant can be given properties formally handled by senior accountants and expected to do the reporting in the same amount of time. Was told when I started that taking action is not a problem; just plan ahead so that someone can cover me when gone. Later, I am told by my supervisor that I can't take any vacation that conflicts with reporting deadlines. I have deadlines on four different days each month (nine properties total), so I won't be able to take any more than a day or two off for vacation.

    Advice to Management

Reduce the workload. Nine or 10 properties are too many for one person, even if they are supposedly "easy" properties. The "allocation" by percentage of time required for each property means nothing: time needed also depends on each accountant's abilities. You are overworking your employees and you don't show any appreciation for their efforts. From what I can tell, this is true across the organization.

I worked at Stream Realty full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good benefits, pay is okay

    Cons

Executive Management is not truthful. They have poor people management skills. Your opinion better reflect their opinions.

    Advice to Management

Owners need to look at the overblown egos of Executive Management.

    Pros

Good company overall. Good benefits; leadership for the most part strong but growth can be slow in coming, depending on upper mgmt.

    Cons

Third-party commercial property mgmt salaries don't always commensurate with workload; point & case: for this position, you're expected to pull double duty in most cases as asst prop mgr & admin but the salary screams the latter.

    Advice to Management

Losen the purse. Take better care of your employees. Most work really hard and deserve advancement with pay, not to be ignored by immediate PM for fear of being out shined.
