    I worked at Stretch-o-rama full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Lots of holidays off due to Jewish owners.
    Great location near Herald Square.

    Cons

    Below average starting salary.
    Promotions are non-existent.
Management isn't very concerned about staff.
    High staff turnover.

    Advice to Management

    Pay competitive wages.
Revamp department management to have leaders, not dictators.

    Pros

No working overtime is the biggest pro for working at Stretch-o-rama.

    Cons

No raise, no bonus. You are often yelled at and won't feel respected.
Very high turnover, you'll see people come and go around you a lot.

    Advice to Management

It's definitely important to give small bonus/raise to employees that perform well, otherwise you'll keep losing people because they can easily find better paying jobs.

    Pros

You won't have to work many late nights. Working for Stretch-o-rama is a great way to get your foot in the door and experience the fashion industry.

    Cons

The company has a high turnover. People are constantly coming and going, which means your team will consistently change. Also, it's nearly impossible to get a raise.

    Advice to Management

Don't be afraid to negotiate your salary when hired. Chances are, your wages won't increase while working for this company. My advice, learn what you can from this company and move on.

    I worked at Stretch-o-rama full-time

    Pros

I really enjoyed my time at Longstreet. I was able to grow and learn a lot. I moved back home to be with family and so had to leave the position.
Environment was fun and engaging, nice amount of vacation days and possibilities to excel.

    Cons

I was a newbie to the fashion field and so needed some additional guidance. It came in the end, but would have liked a more structured onboarding process. (I hear they are doing it now though)

    Advice to Management

With regard to the onboarding I think that would be the best time and effort spent with new employees to make sure they are well equipped to handle the business.
