    Pros

Nice, intelligent team. Company is involved in some interesting work, good benefits

    Cons

Political, aggressive culture; little to no room for professional development or training opportunities; extreme and unnecessary micromanagement from senior managers; and ridiculously long hours for the salaries - with unclear career paths at the end of the day.

I have been working at Stroz Friedberg full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great pantry, benefits (pre acquisition), flexible working schedule, easy to commute to and there's a Starbucks right downstairs!!! Definitely a good place to work if you're coming on in an entry level capacity.

    Cons

Poor leadership and not a space for professional development. Things get old real fast especially when you're doing the same tasks over and over again.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in your team!

    Pros

There are no longer any positives to working here. The acquisition has made this place a shell of what it once was.

    Cons

The acquisition by Aon has ruined the company. Everyone is leaving either voluntarily or due to downsizing. The people that are still there are all miserable and looking to leave.

    Advice to Management

Communication is key... Your staff is human and does not deserve to be treated like this.

    Pros

I really enjoyed working in E-Discovery at Stroz Friedberg. The work itself can be a bit dry if you work overtime or longer hours but you get satisfaction knowing you are doing very valuable work. The people there are extremely nice and willing to help you all the time. I miss it here.

    Cons

Like I said sometimes it can be dry.

I have been working at Stroz Friedberg full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work is varied and you get experience with different countries. People are generally nice and there isn't a lot of workplace politics. The pay and bonuses are good and there is a lot of flexibility in terms of working from home and taking time off to attend appointments, but this really does depend on your manager. Support with training.

    Cons

We have no culture or values that underpin who we are. No strategy and the communication across offices is quite bad. There is a lack of development opportunities and roles are not aligned. There are not clear career paths and there is a lot of uncertainty at the moment due to the Aon acquisition. Management are a bit distant.

    Advice to Management

Create a culture that brings us together. Have social events. HR need to focus on developing managers to be leaders and more focused on people rather than targets and there needs to be clear career paths. People need to know what they need to do to be promoted.
