    Great co-workers
You feel rewarded in the work you are doing to help the end users

    Cons

Middle managements lack of involvement and coaching

    Advice to Management

Middle managers need to be involved and more visible to their teams daily tasks. They need to have better understanding of their employees long term career goals.

I worked at Stryker full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Fantastic people at Stryker! Stryker is a Family and a Team that celebrates hard work and positive patient outcomes. I have life-long friends at Stryker. If you get a chance to work there then go for it.

    Cons

The Stryker Womens Network protects a few female Directors and Executives from being fired, even when their HR file is full of violations. Stryker is for people in their 20's and 30's.

    Advice to Management

Promote people that earn promotion and not the pretty/handsom & popular.

I have been working at Stryker full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

+ Everyone is motivated, work gets done quickly
+ Gallup Culture test insures a great workplace culture
+ Employees and Leaders are willing to help others learn
+ Make a difference by working to improve the healthcare environment, without needing to go into the medical field yourself
+ Employees often become friends, in & out of work
    + Work Hard, Play Hard
+ Give back to the community (at employee level & corporate level)
+ Lots of travel (a con for some)

    Cons

    - Not everyone will like the fast pace of Stryker
    - Some days are outside of 8am-5pm, but that is usually made up by leaving early on another day. Managers help you maintain work/life balance.
    - Sometimes have to schedule time with managers if you need to talk with them for more than just a few minutes between meetings
    - Lots of travel (a pro for some)

I have been working at Stryker full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

It's very apparent Stryker's due diligence leads them to only hire the best. The interviewers have been cool people with obvious drive and appreciation for others who may lift their team as well.

    Cons

If you're not the type of person with a very successful history or a strong story of drive, it would be difficult to get your foot in the door.

    Advice to Management

The recipe for vetting employees makes sure Stryker's talent is top notch. Keep the bar high.
