I worked at Stuart Weitzman full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Work independently.
Inventory is small and easy to manage.
Customers know & love the product.

    Cons

Very little support from upper management.
    Unrealistic expectations.
Little/ no training, but held accountable.
Only hire experienced luxury sales staff but do not pay like luxury should.
Compete with online and other retailers who have a better selection than most SW retail stores.

    Advice to Management

Listen to staff and customers to make improvements in the collection. Assist your stores in being successful instead of looking down your nose at them. Develop a customer appreciation program. Help Stuart Weitzman maintain the core values that made them successful. Sending Coach employees in to critique, or spy on staff is not creating a stable or healthy environment.
