I worked at Sub-Zero & Wolf Appliance full-time for more than a year

    Pros

There is a lot of trust in its employees, and opportunity is given internally often. Teams are friendly and it's rare to see someone considered as not valued. They are also good at playing to people's strengths within teams

    Cons

There's a very traditional mindset, which can be both good and bad. On one hand, it creates a lot of focus on opportunity and trust to create good product, Design Engineering for example. On the other, trust is not given with things like working from home

    Pros

Paycheck every Thursday. Met some nice co workers there. Other than that, literally nothing else.

    Cons

Lets see. Where to start. Within a 3 month period, from December 2019 to March of 2020, you had an on the job fatality, had employees shot at in your unsecured parking lots as they chased away smash and grab thieves, flipped out over breaks, and then laid off at least a hundred people at the Wolf facility alone. The sad part about the fatality is all you cared about was having the OSHA wrap up their investigation so you could open your line back up. Very similar reaction to having employees shot at on your property while they were outside on a smoke break. Not a single ounce of concern other than you'll look at ways to improve parking lot safety, which still hasnt happened. You could have had an on the job fatality and a homicide but all you care about is your profits. The building should have been locked down and employees should have been notified that someone was outside shooting a gun. But no, word spread by mouth between employees instead. If an employee dies, just replace him. I truly hope that business doesn't pick back up for your company, as you all deserve to be in an unemployment line for the lies and manipulation. How you can make a vague statement that you plan to bring all employees back from the zero notice layoff (which you have a history of, by the way,) and then turn around and not even 48 hours later lay off at least a hundred people "indefinitely" and blame it on the Coronavirus, which was a cop-out to try to get around the state's 60 day layoff notice law. Never in my 20 years of working have I ever worked for a company that was so disrespectful and unappreciative towards their employees.
