    Pros

Perhaps the best quality product in the industry. The offices are clean and neat. The parking lot is paved. The air conditioning and heat are functional.

    Cons

Most poorly managed company EVER. 30 yr old CRM (remember the green screen CRTs), inaccurate. NO marketing. Direct sales competes with distributor sales who gets advantageous pricing. Sales rep base is minimum wage. Customer service not allowed to talk to sales dept. Online product catalog obsolete. HIGH turn over in sales.

    Advice to Management

Welcome to the 21st century. Your employees trust you as much as you trust them and you don't trust them at all. Take advantage of your employees experience and successes.

    Pros

Mon-Thurs 10 hour shifts was nice. Long weekend

    Cons

No connection or growth. There is no training and very little people spoke english. Felt like a prison with cubicles and buzzers that went off to let you know you were allowed a break. I hated that job honestly.

    Advice to Management

Care for employee or at least check in with them. Little communication from management was a shame.

I have been working at Suburban Surgical full-time

    Pros

It's a secure company to get into, running over 75 years strong.

    Cons

They really aren't fairly paying the majority of the office staff to my best knowledge. They're also run mostly by family members, this leaves little room for creativity or improvement as the upper management all share the same stubbornness.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to be changed out with actual degreed and highly skilled workers. The current management are proficient enough to keep the company going, however it could be much more efficient.

    Pros

Co-workers are nice. Small company for their size and family owned which is good and bad Benefits are not bad but not good either. There isn't any sick days!

    Cons

They do not market their products. Not only are you selling against your competitors but you are selling against the other companies sales rep who sell to distributors. Salary is not what they tell you and what is listed on their ads. Half you salary is a draw and half is minimum wage and they do not say this in their ad or in the interviews! You have to pay the draw back before you can get commissions! Also they will do anything to not pay you commissions.

    Advice to Management

Need to market your products. Also get rid of the draw and pay your reps what they deserve. Let each give have control of sales in the territory including distributors and non profits. Give employees better benefits including sick and vacation time

    Pros

Co-workers are the best, They are helpfull and friendly. Office building is new and top notch. Fast internet and newer windows PCs

    Cons

Small family owned company, end up with 5 bosses Human Resources gives reviews inconsistently. You are told you get one a year, but often it gets skipped for long tenured employees.

    Advice to Management

Follow what your consultant told you. You are overpay for sales. You already know who is overpaid there and who you can do without. Make the moves and pay the factory guys more and you will still have more for your own pocket

I worked at Suburban Surgical full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Work Monday to Thursday 6am to 4:30pm

    Cons

The ownership only cares about profit. The senior management complains about the company. Most employees can't speak english, or barely do. You get a half hour for lunch and you have to punch out and then punch in,but with two time clocks and 100 employees, by the time you do all that you have ten minutes left for lunch. You are threatened about being fired over everything even if you were just hired. Most of the employees working there can't be hired anywhere else. They have very high turn over in employees. The benefits are super expensive, and your pay is extremely low.
People smoke in the warehouse. Complete disreguard for personal safety.

    Advice to Management

    Shut your doors!
