I worked at Subway part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Free 6" a day, employee's are very reflective of the community(this could be on cons).

    Cons

Near minimum wage. Manager sometimes took his anger out on employees, I came to work not be a human punching bag.

    Advice to Management

I would of liked my manager not to be a weezle.

I have been working at Subway part-time

    Pros

Customers were great. They made the day.

    Cons

Management was rude to workers in front of customers. The store is in a busy area with no place to park but at 2hr (that you have to pay 1.75 every 2 hrs) parking meters. Which you have to keep clocking out to move your car. And they have no benefit... I'll never work there again. At least not in that location.

    Advice to Management

    Management needs new management.

    I worked at Subway part-time

    Pros

    There are none at all.

    Cons

The owner never pays any employees on time. She tajes sides with employees if it conviences her and helps her avoid resolving important issues. They choose favorites and refuse to give people hours whether or not they are hard workers. She saves hours for family or favored employees that dont deserve them. The entire restaurant is disgusting and does not get cleaned properly or almost ever until an inspector is expected. People dont prep food with gloves. I havent seen my paycheck from last week yet and it was suppoed to be at the store friday morning. It never comes on time and ia usually3-4 days late. Most employees never see paychecks. The stores in Bristol RI and Swansea MA on market street need to be thoroughly looked over. Books need to be checked and the store needs to be examined. She took Way employee meals woth no explanation

    Advice to Management

Quit while youre ahead. Get your business together and stop hurting other employees in the process.

    Cons

Manager was dishonest, and racist. You don't get breaks. You don't get respect from no one.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and believe them sometimes. Respect your employees

    Pros

Hands-on-experience, meal discounts, keeps you busy, and free meals.

    Cons

Training and hours was a problem since I was given about 8 hours a week to learn everything. Never understood the duties in the back. Training felt a bit sloppy because of lack of training methods and bad communication.

    Advice to Management

Explain to employees how everything works in the store.
