I worked at Subway part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

They train you very well and make sure that you know pretty much all the necessities. The management is very strict and that is good for young employees to learn best.

    Cons

They were not too lenient with asking for days off. They are a little les understanding to high school students if they are involved.

    Advice to Management

A little less stress put on younger employees. They can't expect a part time job to be treated like a full.

I have been working at Subway part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The work is relatively easy and the job isn't stressful. You get to work with my different people and make new friends.

    Cons

Many coworkers are younger which can be difficult to work around. A lot of people call in and shifts need to be covered.

    Advice to Management

Management should focus on employee and customer satisfaction to create a positive work environment.

I have been working at Subway (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Easy Job, good coworkers, flexible hours

    Cons

Since Subway Corporation does not own any stores they do not dictate policies. The company that owned my store refused to give raises treated all employees including management terribly. I worked there for 3 years and the only raise I saw anyone receive was from 7.25 to 7:.50 because they raised the entry level pay

    Advice to Management

    Give Raises

I worked at Subway part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is the easiest job i've ever had. You bake the frozen bread and cookies, but nearly everything else comes pre made. Also you have a customer watching you make their sandwich, if you mess up they will tell you. If you happen to put the wrong thing on you can just take it off. My point is its nearly impossible to mess it up. I also got a free 6 inch every time I worked.

    Cons

The pay sucks. If your in a busy location the lunch rush can be hectic. All Subways are owned by different people so management can be a pain. The person who owned the one I worked at was very demanding on when I needed to work when I said I couldn't.

I worked at Subway part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Of course the food, and the schedule flexibility, also there are many stores open so the hours are not a problem

    Cons

The management can be frustrating sometimes, also people like their food perfect, so dealing with some of the customers can be hard at times
