I worked at Subway full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Lots of freedom, Easy work, free lunch (you're allowed to make yourself a 6-inch sub everyday, and have a choice of a cookie or chips to go with it)

    Cons

Low-pay (you start 7.50) they only allow two co-workers at a time per shift, meaning when it's very busy you are most likely going to have a stressful day, and lastly the customers. Most customers are fine, and often make your day easier, but the occasional customer from hell will arise. I personally had one family come in, order nothing, and then proceed to change their new-born's diaper on one of the tables. When i asked them to leave they ignored me, and continued changing their babies diaper (and yes, other customers were in the store)

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who don't play favorites, and actually do their job when their co-workers are there.
