    I worked at Subway part-time

    Pros

Consistent hours, easy, flexible, friendly, reliable

    Cons

Repetitive, boring, depressing, unorganized, minimum wage

    Advice to Management

It wasn’t a bad job, but there were some management issues that made it very disorganized. After a few months the job starts to feel super repetitive and easily gets boring. I dreaded going in to work the last couple months. They did give consistent hours and were flexible with scheduling.

Good first job experience, very flexible hours, decent pay.

I have been working at Subway part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people at my location have all become good friends of mine. The culture there is focused, and all work is completed promptly.

    Cons

There's just not enough hours to go around. I'm really glad that I've been working here, but I just can't stay forever, simply for finance's sake.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work. Our location is the second most popular in the area, and that's thanks to the efforts of our store manager Seana keeping us all motivated.

I have been working at Subway part-time

    Pros

Free sodas are a perk, as is the employee discount. Very flexible scheduling, lots of opportunities to cover for coworkers if you need extra hours. Team-oriented. Lots of things to learn and do, but very static -- once you have it, you have it. Good, clean, bright atmosphere.

    Cons

Very pressured as far as time management goes -- managers and supervisors value our productivity higher than our safety and comfort. Minors close the store alone every night, and there is rarely more than 2 people working together at any given time.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and take criticism. Work some of every shift to get an idea of the struggles of each one so you can accomodate.

I worked at Subway part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

If you have a good owner/manager the work is no problem.

    Cons

If the store gets sold to a new owner that you aren't keen on it will be a rough time

I worked at Subway (More than a year)

    Pros

I enjoyed making sandwiches. Duties were fairly light. I loved the free meal every shift.

    Cons

I often had to work and close the store alone since we were in a slower location.

    Advice to Management

Provide a safer atmosphere for women to work free of sexual harassment.
