I have been working at SuccessFactors full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

SAP brand name and people, ethics are great.

Good vision of what they want to achieve

    Cons

Poor execution on vision. Many acquisitions continue to be a challenge.

Comp plan for reps up to 50% quota will challenge most newcomers.

Heavily deployed sales teams with thin territories is creating turnover or at least transitions to other SAP divisions.

    Advice to Management

Focus investment on fixing foundation instead of creating new solutions.

Value employees enough to realize they have families and pay them reasonably.

I have been working at SuccessFactors full-time

    Pros

Nice building; flexible hours; okay pay

    Cons

Much time and effort goes into migrating toward how SAP does things, answering to SAP people and performing tasks for them. The SuccessFactors staff is a fraction of what it once was; often the building seems empty.

    Advice to Management

Just get it over with: Eliminate the SF name and call everyone SAP.
