I have been working at Summit Health full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

No day is exactly the same and the pay doesn't compare to anything else around. They offer competitive benefits and it's a clean environment. The staff are friendly no matter what department you travel to.

    Cons

The jobs are mostly all flex rotation and you work holidays and weekends. Working at the hospital is a high stress area, so you have to do well under pressure.

    Advice to Management

It would be better for job classifications to be all offered the same hours and not to work flex rotation. Since having to switch back and forth to work the off hours, I have lost time spent with family and have become more tired.

  3. "It was an okay job for the pay. I felt like we were underpaid though."

I have been working at Summit Health (More than a year)

    Pros

Flexible scheduling. Not much more that is positive with this company. Negative experiences working for this company since Quest assumed ownership.

    Cons

Company FAILS to schedule nurses when they ask to work. Pay is very low. Poor reimbursement for mileage. Force employee to share hotel rooms with peers they may not even know. Poor management, planning.

    Advice to Management

Schedule nurses for their won hotel rooms. Pay federal rate for mileage reimbursement. Be fair and share assignments between contractors- this is NOT currently being done
