I worked at Summitt Energy full-time

    Pros

I loved everyone working there. My supervisor was one of the best I've ever had in years.

    Cons

The pay is a bit low for the amount of yelling you receive from customers and stress for sales.

I worked at Summitt Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Paid Lunch , Good Co-Workers, Earn extra money while working on weekends and Access to Public Transport.

    Cons

I worked for two month at this place and I had to quit.

80% of employees are Muslims and if you are from a different community you won't survive in this place for more than 2 months.

Team leads(Muslims) are racist they discourage people from other community and when you ask them any question regarding product or problem they answer you with a rude response everytime.

Team leads will always pass racial comments and discuss religions in office and they tend to tell people that everyone should follow Islam.

They put so much pressure on you that you decide on leaving a job.

People are working there from 6 years and are at the same CSR level, No growth at all. Just you get increment of 0.15 to 0.35 cents every year.

You can never get your break on time. Sometime you have to work for 6 hours without a break.

Employees keep leaving every week because of the torture they get from Team Leads and they always run short on manpower and the old employees have to work more hours.

No Cafeteria. No lunch room. In the Afternoon this place smells like a restaurant kitchen as 90% of people eat on desk.

    Advice to Management

Please keep a eye on your managers and team leads. Take one on one feedback from CSR's to know the actual truth about what's going in the office and why people keep resigning after a month or two. Call your ex-employees and ask them why they left and you will get to know the reality.

I have been working at Summitt Energy full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

very relaxed environment but busy and friendly coworkers. engage in activities for the employees which made a positive impact

    Cons

there are 3 supervisors in this call center and only 1 of them fits the qualification of the role. The customer service supervisors lack the basic skills to manage employees. One of them rearly shows up for work and when they do, they are always on their cell phone for their entire shift and also leaves early.

    Advice to Management

    hire properly skilled supervisors

I worked at Summitt Energy part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Anyone can get hired without customer service experience
pay is great along with the breaks and lunches
better to have a male supervisor than female as you get more benefits and promotion

    Cons

no real direction on what you are suppose to do
if you are a male you get treated better than the female employees

    Advice to Management

take a look at your male supervisors and see if they are really qualified to supervise people who are smarter than them. there is lot of favoritism with the male supervisors
