I worked at SunCom Wireless Holdings full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great corporate culture, management kept employees engaged, paid training, corporate volunteer opportunities. Multi State locations held same standards applied from home office.

    Cons

Went through various mergers and consolidations, before company presence was removed from state. Did not want relocate to different state but understood why the decision was made.

I worked at SunCom Wireless Holdings full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Small company could be more nimble and could actually talk to upper management. Was easier to feel like a big fish in a small pond and felt like a family.

    Cons

Didn't have the buying power of the big companies so phone selection was limited. Pay was competitive but didn't have access to the same kind of benefits of the larger companies.

    Advice to Management

This company was merged with T-Mobile in 2008. It was overall a smart move and had to happen for us to survive but the transition was not handled as smoothly for employees or customers as it should have been.
