    I worked at SunGard full-time

    Pros

Not only is my team collaborative and supportive but the entire company is as a whole. Our company has a strong sense of community that is felt in every office globally.

    Cons

Workplace culture doesn't get much better than Indeed. People are young, personable, and a joy to be around. Free catered lunch on wednesdays (very good 90% of the time) and free catered breakfast on fridays (very good 90% of the time). Kitchens on every floor are fully stocked. Coffee machines are top of the line.

    Advice to Management

Great Atmosphere you never clock watch and rarely do days drag on. It is a young fun environment. You can make a lot of money if you are willing to work for it. Would recommend to anyone

I worked at SunGard full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Great people to work with and decent benefits and vacation time with somewhat flexible hours as needed. Free parking downtown.

    Cons

2 and 3 percent raises do not keep up with the cost of living. It is all about the numbers even though they make billions yearly.

    I worked at SunGard full-time

    Pros

SunGard offered many positions to its employees and was a reliable place to work for a decent salary and benefits, and the opportunity to interact with many professional colleagues

    Cons

There were many subdivisions within the company that were quite fragmented and this ended up causing quite an identity crisis as such a large company. Very corporate feel with a lack of sharing a common vision and sense of value for employees.

    Advice to Management

Evaluate approaches to consolidate or reclassify different business entities to have more of a unified organization. Focus on building a stronger culture where employees feel more engaged and valued.
